Roaming / 14th Street from University Place to Seventh Avenue

A woman in a water-soaked garment, accompanied by the sound of dripping water, walks the streets of NYC, leaving a trail behind in this durational performance piece that recontextualizes the Mexican folklore of La Llorona—a weeping woman who mourns publicly. This performance explores crying as an act of cleansing, discomfort, and connection, creating an intimate space within the public realm.
