This durational work explores the eye as the soul's window and specifically responds to the AiOP 2024 theme of CARE. In this performance piece the artist will walk while carrying a 25” glass rondel and mirror which will be used to shine an iris-like shadow, projected by the sun, on to participants. This ritualized act offers an opportunity for deep and profound connections between performer and participant in which illumination can provide the way to experiencing a shared state of grace.
