Performers carry paintings of captive animals, such as cab horses and farmed cattle, onto the streets of New York City. Each performer holds an animal painting inspired by public signs and Chinese paper cutting. The performance gestures towards a future where animals are liberated from captivity and encourages conversations about their welfare.
