Jehlani, a business-associated robot wishes to feel human like the people outside her human size display case–a symbolism for the barrier between the two different worlds. The world sparks interest yet overwhelming emotion towards the robot. Due to how the world is displayed in the media, trust within the world is being tested by people's morals and views on events happening in the world. Jehlani will dance through phases of overwhelming emotions that connect to what makes people feel alive and empathetic. Considering humans are a robot's references, being able to connect emotions to events in the world will build emotional and mental awareness within Jehlani. Even inside of her barrier she is determined to connect.

Jehlani Bowers passion is dance and poetry. Her journey started in dance at the age of three. Her main motivation to dance is not only to create a canvas of movement in different textures and styles (Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Ballet, Salsa, etc. ) but to also provide a pathway to reach out to friends and strangers emotionally and mentally without knowing them personally.
